In compliance with the directive of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, the Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in
Prague, Czech Republic wishes to inform you to end the issuance of visa
stickers, in favor of the electronic visa (e-visa) system.
The measure enters into force on February 13th, 2026.
The directive is to harmonize Ghana’s visa sticker issuance
regime with its centralized e-visa system for efficiency and enhance security.
In this regard, starting from February 13th, 2026, applicants in Romania will be required to submit their visa applications directly to the Embassy of the Republic of Ghana in Prague, Czech Republic, for processing.
